Job Summary
Mariana Minerals is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and deploy software that accelerates the engineering, construction, and operation of mineral processing facilities. This role focuses on internal software platforms, engineering and construction integrations, full-stack applications, data architecture, LLM-powered workflows, and the development of Mariana’s internal operating system for critical minerals infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to identify and build internal software tools.
  • Develop software that accelerates deployment of mineral processing facilities and capital projects.
  • Build data integrations with engineering and construction software platforms such as Autodesk.
  • Develop new web applications and user experiences for internal teams and project partners.
  • Extend existing engineering and construction tools to address workflow gaps and operational pain points.
  • Evaluate third-party software platforms for potential use across engineering, construction, and operations.
  • Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to develop LLM-powered applications and workflows.
  • Apply LLMs to challenges involving unstructured data ingestion, interpretation, and understanding.
  • Support development of Mariana’s internal operating system for engineering, construction, and mineral processing operations.
  • Contribute to data architecture and data pipelines supporting machine learning model training.
  • Help build data systems that provide operational visibility into mineral processing facilities.
  • Work across the full software stack, from infrastructure and backend services to frontend applications.
  • Translate requirements from non-software stakeholders into scoped technical solutions and production features.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices.
  • Approximately 1.5 or more years of professional software engineering experience preferred.
  • Ability to work directly with engineering, construction, operations, and other non-software stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify operational pain points and translate them into software requirements.
  • Ability to estimate level of effort and independently drive feature implementation.
  • Strong self-starter mentality and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to work across the full software stack, including infrastructure, backend systems, and frontend development.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least one area of the software stack with willingness to expand into others.
  • Interest in industrial software, mineral processing, capital projects, automation, data systems, and applied AI.
