Job Summary
MP Materials is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across mining and processing operations.

This role is responsible for driving a zero-incident culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing safety and environmental strategies across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site-wide EHS programs to achieve zero injuries and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations
  • Develop and implement safety, environmental, and emergency response programs
  • Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking
  • Manage environmental permits (air, water, waste) and compliance programs
  • Oversee SWPPP, SPCC, wastewater, and water management practices
  • Coordinate safety committees and employee engagement initiatives
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve EHS performance
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
– 10+ years of experience in EHS within mining, metals, or industrial environments

Additional Experience May Include

  • CSP, CIH, or CHMM certifications
  • Experience with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP programs
  • Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 or similar systems
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies
  • Experience in mining, chemical processing, or heavy industry
