Job Summary
Perpetua Resources is seeking a Mine Manager to lead all mining activities at the Stibnite Gold Project.

This role is accountable for the safe, compliant, and economically optimized extraction of ore, ensuring mining operations align with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and life-of-mine plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with mining laws, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
• Develop, implement, and audit statutory management plans (safety, ground control, hazards)
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and investigations
• Oversee mine planning and ensure execution aligns with approved designs
• Manage geotechnical and ground control systems including slope stability and excavation safety
• Review monitoring data and manage geotechnical risk mitigation plans (TARPs)
• Direct mining operations including drilling, blasting, load and haul activities
• Optimize fleet performance, equipment utilization, and productivity
• Manage contractors and ensure adherence to technical and safety standards
• Lead risk assessments and implement hazard control systems
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Manage operating and capital budgets for mining activities
• Monitor costs, production performance, and operational KPIs
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven analysis
• Ensure effective use of mine planning, fleet management, and reporting systems
• Support implementation of automation and digital mining technologies
• Lead and mentor engineers, supervisors, and technical teams
• Coordinate with geology, processing, maintenance, and corporate teams
• Engage with regulators, auditors, and external consultants

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field

• 10–15+ years of experience in mining operations
• Strong experience in mine planning, production, and statutory compliance
• Experience in open pit and/or underground mining environments
• Strong leadership and technical decision-making capabilities

Additional Experience May Include

• Postgraduate studies in mining, geotechnical engineering, or management
• Experience in high-risk or complex mining operations
• Experience balancing strategic planning with operational execution
