Job Summary
Freeport-McMoRan is seeking an Identity & Access Management Architect III to lead enterprise identity architecture and security strategy across global systems.

This role focuses on designing secure, scalable identity solutions, implementing Zero Trust principles, and supporting identity governance, access control, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise identity architecture across systems and platforms
  • Design authentication, authorization, and access control frameworks
  • Develop identity security roadmaps and strategic initiatives
  • Implement Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions
  • Define and enforce security standards aligned with Zero Trust
  • Support identity lifecycle management and access reviews
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams
  • Develop architecture documentation, models, and control frameworks
  • Monitor identity threats and recommend improvements

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field

  • Experience in identity and access management (IAM) and cybersecurity
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and security frameworks
  • Experience with federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle and access governance
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (SOX, NIST)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Additional Experience May Include

  • Experience with passwordless authentication and identity automation
  • Experience with HRIS or enterprise identity integrations
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Identity)
  • Experience with workload and machine identity management
