Job Summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Autonomous Systems Engineer to support the implementation and optimization of autonomous mining technologies. This role focuses on integrating, maintaining, and improving autonomous haulage and fleet management systems to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

You will work closely with operations, engineering, and technology teams to ensure reliable system performance and continuous improvement of autonomous mining solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support deployment and operation of autonomous systems (AHS, FMS)
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize system usage
  • Support integration of new technologies into mining operations
  • Analyze system data to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Provide technical support and training to site personnel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Experience with autonomous systems, fleet management systems, or industrial automation preferred
  • Knowledge of mining operations or heavy equipment systems preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data analysis and system monitoring tools
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Additional experience may include:

  • Experience with AHS (Autonomous Haulage Systems)
  • Experience with FMS (Fleet Management Systems)
  • Exposure to industrial IoT or automation technologies
