Job Summary
U.S. Silica is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I (Wet) to operate basic heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner under supervision.

This role focuses on supporting site operations, material movement, and maintaining safety standards in a mining or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate loaders, dozers, and excavators safely
  • Perform pre-operation equipment inspections
  • Follow instructions and safety procedures at all times
  • Assist with site cleanup and material movement
  • Report equipment issues promptly
  • Support general site operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
– High school diploma or GED required

  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Valid equipment operator certification or ability to obtain
  • High commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights
  • Ability to use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving skills

Additional Experience May Include

  • MSHA knowledge (preferred)
  • Forklift experience (preferred)
  • Basic computer software skills (preferred)
  • Warehouse experience (preferred)
