Job Summary
Florence Copper is seeking a Drilling Services Operator to support drilling operations in Florence, Arizona. Reporting to the Drilling Superintendent, this role assists with drilling support activities, equipment operation, supply movement, routine maintenance, minor repairs, troubleshooting, and safe field execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Move supplies and operate equipment in support of ongoing drilling operations.
  • Support drilling operations while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Follow all standards, policies, procedures, and OSHA standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting on drilling services equipment.
  • Operate mobile equipment, including water trucks, vacuum trucks, telehandlers, and other commercial vehicles or equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate activities effectively with other team members.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in rig operations and maintenance.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, including water trucks, vacuum trucks, and telehandlers.
  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Commercial Driver’s License preferred.
  • Ability to work safely and coordinate effectively with drilling and field teams.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry large tools and equipment weighing more than 50 pounds independently.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time.
  • Must work in compliance with Florence Copper’s site health and safety program.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and background check.
