Job Summary
Mariana Minerals is seeking an IT Technician to provide onsite technical support at a remote mine site in Moab, Utah.

This role supports end users, network infrastructure, hardware, software, communication systems, and operational technology systems used in mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and specialized mining equipment interfaces
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, connectivity, VPN, authentication, and account management issues
• Assist with installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems and applications
• Maintain network equipment including switches, access points, routers, and fiber/copper connections
• Support communication systems including VoIP, radios, and industrial wireless networks
• Support operational technology equipment such as rugged tablets, PLC interfaces, fleet management hardware, and production or safety monitoring sensors
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to maintain reliable data flow between field equipment and central systems
• Maintain accurate inventories of IT hardware, equipment, and consumables
• Prepare, deploy, and maintain new equipment according to company standards
• Follow mine site safety protocols and participate in safety meetings and training
• Support cybersecurity policies, patches, updates, and secure configuration practices
• Maintain logs of incidents, resolutions, system performance, configuration records, and asset documentation
• Provide regular status updates to IT leadership and site management

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support in industrial, field, mining, or remote site environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and user support
• Knowledge of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, operating systems, and business applications
• Familiarity with switches, routers, access points, fiber/copper connections, VPN access, and authentication systems
• Experience supporting communication systems such as VoIP, radios, or industrial wireless networks preferred
• Exposure to operational technology systems, rugged devices, PLC interfaces, fleet management hardware, or sensors preferred
• Ability to work onsite in a remote mine site environment
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, cybersecurity, reliability, and operational support
