Job Summary
Epiroc is seeking a Design Engineer to develop and deliver innovative mechanical products through the full product development lifecycle.

This role focuses on product design, engineering analysis, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, manufacturable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems from concept to production
  • Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure product manufacturability
  • Support prototyping, testing, and product validation activities
  • Conduct DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and root cause investigations
  • Work with suppliers and quality teams to support product development
  • Participate in lab testing, field trials, and continuous product improvement
  • Support intellectual property development and patent processes

Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
– 5+ years of experience in product design or mechanical engineering

  • Proficiency in CAD tools (Pro-E/Creo)
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and mechanical design principles
  • Experience with DFMEA and tolerance analysis
  • Hands-on experience with testing and prototyping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes
