Job Summary
Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Crusher Mechanic to support plant reliability through crusher maintenance, equipment repair, inspections, and welding work.

This role focuses on maintaining crushing and processing equipment, supporting safe plant operations, and helping maximize production uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote safety in all activities in accordance with MSHA and company standards
  • Assemble, disassemble, overhaul, repair, and adjust crushing and processing equipment
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of plant equipment and structures
  • Monitor crushing, washing, and screening areas to identify problems and ensure compliance
  • Maintain service and lubrication reports to support preventive maintenance
  • Perform plant support tasks such as cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials
  • Support overall plant operations and perform additional assigned duties

Skills
– Experience in aggregate, construction, or industrial maintenance environments preferred
– Experience with MIG and Stick welding required

  • Knowledge of industrial crusher maintenance and aggregate production practices
  • Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain crushing and processing equipment
  • Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to work overtime and extended hours
  • Ability to tolerate high-noise environments
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to MSHA standards
