Job Summary
Donlin Gold LLC is seeking an IT Generalist to provide hands-on technical support for end users, equipment, and network systems across its operations in Alaska.

This role supports desktop systems, mobile devices, network connectivity, cybersecurity practices, and field-based technology infrastructure while ensuring uptime and responsiveness in a remote, high-demand project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for employees and contractors
• Install and maintain computers, printers, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and account setup
• Assist with LAN, Wi-Fi, and remote connectivity systems
• Track and manage IT equipment and inventory
• Support cybersecurity, patching, and system updates
• Provide field support for camp and project operations
• Enforce basic IT security practices
• Support password resets, multi-factor authentication, and access troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of IT support experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• Experience in remote or camp-based operations preferred
• Current authorization to work in the United States required

Physical Requirements

• Periodic travel to the Donlin project site and other locations within Alaska may be required
• Work may involve both office and field environments
• Coordination with personnel working in remote, camp-based conditions may be required
• Post-offer criminal background clearance, physical, and drug screening are required
