Job Summary
Intrepid Potash is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support general ledger activities, accounts receivable processes, and financial reporting.

This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting monthly close processes, and maintaining strong internal controls across accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cash application processes, including accounts receivable postings, customer balances, and statement support
  • Handle accounting for miscellaneous cash receipts and support cash disbursement processes
  • Prepare journal entries and support monthly financial close activities
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze financial accounts
  • Review income statement and balance sheet accounts for accuracy and compliance
  • Support accounts receivable aging analysis and collections processes
  • Manage fixed asset accounting for the corporate entity
  • Assist with audit preparation and quarterly financial reviews
  • Support development and implementation of internal controls
  • Act as a key point of contact across accounting and business teams

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
– 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to monthly close and financial analysis

Additional Experience May Include

  • CPA certification (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
