Job Summary
Perpetua Resources is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations for the Stibnite Gold Project.

This role focuses on managing accounting processes, supporting month-end close, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced mining project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close processes including reconciliations and reporting
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account allocations
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain account schedules
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure proper general ledger coding
  • Assist with payment processing (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
  • Support accounts payable and expense report management
  • Assist with vendor and employee setup processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Support financial reporting and documentation

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or accounts payable
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Additional Experience May Include

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or SAGE
  • Interest in pursuing CPA, CMA, or advanced accounting certifications
