Job Summary
Compass Minerals is seeking a Natural Resources Manager to support the management of mineral resources, reserves, land assets, and regulatory engagements across multiple operations.
This role focuses on resource strategy, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring responsible and efficient management of natural resource assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mineral resources, reserves, and land assets
- Collaborate on short- and long-term mine planning strategies
- Support drilling data review and resource definition
- Coordinate with regulators, stakeholders, and communities
- Manage mineral leases, entitlements, and compliance processes
- Support environmental and sustainability initiatives
- Develop financial models for land and resource strategy
- Maintain resource and land records in internal systems
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and environmental teams
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Geology, GIS, Natural Sciences, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of mining methods and resource management
- Experience with ArcGIS or similar tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Willingness to travel 50–75%
Additional Experience May Include
- Experience in resource estimation or land management
- Knowledge of regulatory and permitting processes
- Experience with financial or strategic modeling
