Job Summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Miner to support production activities at its Leeville underground operations. This role focuses on safe equipment operation, material handling, and supporting daily underground mining activities to meet production targets.

You will work as part of an operations team ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant underground mining practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate underground equipment safely and efficiently
  • Support haulage, material handling, and production activities
  • Perform pre-operational inspections on equipment and machinery
  • Follow safety, environmental, and operational procedures
  • Comply with state and federal mining regulations
  • Maintain effective communication and teamwork within operations

Core Skills & Equipment

  • Haul Truck Operation (required)
  • Utilities (required)
  • Conveyor Systems Operation
  • Backfill Handling and Placement
  • Water Truck Operation
  • Dewatering Systems (sumps and pumps)
  • Underground Equipment Inspection and Operation
  • Lock-out / Tag-out (LOTO) procedures
  • Workplace safety and hazard recognition

Qualifications

  • Experience in underground mining operations preferred
  • Ability to operate mobile and fixed underground equipment
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (day and night)
  • Knowledge of mining safety standards and procedures
