Job Summary
Mariana Minerals is seeking a Staff Program Manager to join its Business Operations team and support operational execution at its Copper One subsidiary in Utah.
This role focuses on operational performance, business process improvement, site digitization, change management, and continuous improvement at Mariana’s first operating mine.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop performance metrics and implement reporting processes to track performance against site and company goals
- Build and manage operational reporting systems, including KPIs, dashboards, and data collection workflows
- Work with functional leaders to identify areas for operational improvement
- Design and implement processes to improve efficiency across finance, maintenance, supply chain, environmental, and safety functions
- Support site digitization by informing the development of internal digital tools and technology platforms
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of new digital tools across the site
- Own the operational cadence for site leadership, including leadership meetings and reporting practices
- Improve internal communications between operational teams, site leadership, and company leadership
- Lead cross-functional projects in a fast-moving industrial environment with minimal oversight
Qualifications
– 5+ years of experience in business operations or program management
– Experience in mining, energy, manufacturing, or another industrial sector is a plus
- Ability to build and own operational reporting systems
- Experience defining KPIs, designing dashboards, and implementing data collection workflows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex operational issues clearly
- Experience keeping distributed teams aligned across site and company leadership
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects with minimal oversight
- Experience working directly with frontline operations and executive leadership
- Ability to influence without authority across multiple levels of an organization
- Comfortable working full-time on-site in an industrial environment
