Job Summary
Epiroc is seeking a Service Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

This role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while maintaining high safety and quality standards in field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and pre-delivery inspections on mining equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Conduct diagnostics and identify root causes of equipment failures
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and available on-site
  • Communicate service activities and updates with internal teams
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Support training and development of other technicians (Level 3)
  • Document operating parameters and perform failure analysis on components

Skills
– Basic computer skills and familiarity with industrial equipment
– Technical or trade school certification or equivalent experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulic systems and powertrain components
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license required
