Job Summary
Mariana Minerals is seeking a Leach Pad Technician to support safe and efficient copper production at its Copper One subsidiary in Moab, Utah.

This hands-on, field-based role focuses on leach pad operations, HDPE pipe welding and layout, heavy equipment operation, irrigation piping, and daily operational support for heap leaching activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weld HDPE pipe safely and effectively
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections on assigned equipment
  • Operate heavy equipment including extendable boom forklifts and mini excavators
  • Lay out, install, and maintain irrigation piping on the leach pad
  • Execute leach pad tasks to support heap leaching operations
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas across assigned work zones
  • Support operational duties as assigned by the Leach Pad Supervisor
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, process team members, and field operations personnel
  • Follow instructions clearly and consistently in a fast-paced field environment
  • Communicate hazards, maintenance issues, and operational needs promptly

Qualifications

  • Basic welding skills
  • Experience with HDPE pipe fusion, preferably 4”–36” pipe
  • Previous equipment operation experience preferred
  • Ability to work in outdoor industrial and mining environments
  • Physical stamina to perform hands-on field work in challenging conditions
  • Strong safety mindset and positive attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols, instructions, and site procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
