Job Summary
Epiroc is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage the planning and procurement of direct materials, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and optimal inventory levels.

This role focuses on supplier coordination, procurement execution, and continuous improvement within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate delivery dates and procurement data in ERP systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support sourcing strategies
  • Resolve purchase order discrepancies and supplier-related issues
  • Communicate engineering changes and requirements to suppliers
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage obsolete or slow-moving materials
  • Maintain supplier relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies

Skills
– Bachelor’s degree preferred; Supply Chain certifications (APICS, CPSM) are a plus
– 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (M3 or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
  • Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing operations
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and multiple priorities
