Job Summary
Epiroc is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repair of mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

This role focuses on diagnostics, equipment repair, and field service support while maintaining high safety, quality, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct diagnostics and identify root causes of equipment failures
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
  • Support warranty claims, validation, and service reporting
  • Maintain and manage personal tool inventory and ensure proper equipment availability
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Communicate service activities and updates with customers and internal teams
  • Support training and development of other technicians (Level 3)

Skills
– Basic computer skills and familiarity with industrial equipment
– Technical or trade school certification or equivalent experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Experience with Rig Control Systems (RCS) (Level 3)
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license required
