Job Summary
Komatsu is seeking a Field Electrician to support Electric Drive Trucks (930 & 980 EDT) across mine sites, ensuring equipment reliability and production uptime.

This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in mining environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on Electric Drive Trucks
  • Maintain and repair mining equipment to OEM specifications
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Inspect tooling, PPE, and ensure safe work practices
  • Identify and communicate operational and maintenance issues
  • Maintain productivity and meet performance targets
  • Collaborate with field teams and site personnel
  • Support continuous equipment uptime and reliability

Qualifications

– 3+ years of electrical experience in mining industry
– Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
– Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
– Clean driving record
– Willingness to travel 100%

Additional Experience May Include

  • Experience working on electric drive trucks
  • Experience in field service or mine site operations
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in rotating schedules and remote environments
