Job Summary
Intrepid Potash is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations, sample analysis, and quality control across plant processes.
This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing samples, operating laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate data reporting to support product quality and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process plant and loadout samples for analysis
- Perform laboratory tests using XRD, Camsizer, and flame photometry
- Log, analyze, and report test results accurately in digital systems
- Maintain and verify proper operation of laboratory instruments
- Perform sample preparation tasks such as drying, sizing, and analysis
- Collaborate with lab teams and plant operations on testing and process support
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and laboratory procedures
Qualifications
– High school diploma or GED (technical education preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Additional Experience May Include
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and sample analysis
- Experience in mining, processing, or industrial environments
- Knowledge of quality control and testing procedures
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
