Job Summary
Perpetua Resources is seeking a Geological Data Analyst to manage and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and usability of geological data for the Stibnite Gold Project.

This role is responsible for administering the geological data management system (GDMS), supporting data-driven decision-making, and collaborating with geology and engineering teams across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the geological data management system (GDMS) as the single source of truth, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data
  • Perform data validation, QA/QC, and reconciliation to maintain compliance with company and industry standards
  • Collaborate with geology and engineering teams to define workflows, business rules, and data structures
  • Configure and maintain data import/export processes, validation routines, and templates
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts for operational and management needs
  • Monitor data integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
  • Support user training, documentation, and adoption of GDMS processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced data workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Geology, Geoscience, Information Systems, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, database management, or geological data handling
  • Experience with geological data platforms (acQuire, MX Deposit, MinePlan, or similar) preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, R, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong understanding of geological and drilling datasets (assays, lithology, geotechnical, surveys)
  • Experience with data cleansing, transformation, and QA/QC processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
