Job Summary
Perpetua Resources is seeking a Principal Resource Geologist to serve as the senior technical authority for geological modeling and mineral resource estimation at the Stibnite Gold Project.

This role leads the development, validation, and governance of 3D geological and resource models, supporting mine planning, production forecasting, and regulatory reporting under SEC S-K 1300 standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead 3D geological and geometallurgical modeling, defining workflows, domaining, and estimation strategies; oversee geostatistics (OK, IDW, MIK, simulations) and approve interpretations and outputs
  • Maintain resource model governance, apply SEC S-K 1300 classification standards, prepare resource statements, and contribute to Technical Report Summary (TRS)
  • Oversee geological databases, ensure QA/QC and full data traceability, and integrate operational and production data into models
  • Support mine planning, metallurgy, and operations with inputs for scheduling, ore control, recovery models, and reconciliation analysis
  • Utilize modeling tools (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine, Surpac), develop automation workflows (Python, SQL, R), and evaluate emerging technologies
  • Mentor teams, define technical standards and workflows, and support audits, due diligence, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications
– B.S. in Geology or related field (M.S. preferred)

  • 10+ years in geological modeling and resource estimation
  • Professional certification (PG, P.Geo, CPG or equivalent)
  • Eligible to act as Qualified Person (SEC S-K 1300)
  • Strong expertise in geostatistics and resource classification
  • Experience in complex or multi-commodity deposits (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in geological modeling software
  • Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
