Job Summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Miner to support production activities at its Goldrush underground operations. This role focuses on safe equipment operation, material handling, and supporting daily underground mining activities to meet production targets.

You will work as part of an operations team ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant underground mining practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate underground mining equipment safely and efficiently
  • Support daily underground production activities
  • Follow safety, environmental, and operational procedures
  • Maintain strong communication with mine operations personnel
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of mining experience preferred
  • Previous underground mining experience preferred
  • Equipment operation experience (haul truck or similar) preferred
  • Strong safety record and work ethic required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (day and night)
