Job Summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Electrician to support electrical maintenance and installation activities at its El Nino underground operation. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing underground, surface, and stationary electrical equipment while supporting safe and reliable mine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs on underground and surface mobile equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs on stationary mine equipment.
• Complete new electrical installations as required.
• Support safe and reliable underground mining operations.
• Perform additional electrical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of underground electrical experience preferred.
• High-voltage experience preferred.
• Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred.
• Ability to read complex electrical prints preferred.
• Understanding of applicable electrical codes preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong safety and attendance record required.
• Ability to work shifts required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor in underground and outdoor mine environments.
• Ability to work under varying weather and operating conditions.
