Job Summary
Florence Copper is seeking an SXEW Operator to support copper production through solvent extraction and electrowinning operations.
This role focuses on monitoring plant systems, maintaining cathode quality, and ensuring efficient and safe copper recovery in an ISR operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control SX/EW plant operations
- Adjust process parameters (flow rates, pH, reagents)
- Maintain cathode quality and tankhouse operations
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Record and report operational data and performance metrics
- Support troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Handle chemicals safely and follow proper procedures
Qualifications
– High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in plant operations or SX/EW processing
- Understanding of hydrometallurgical processes
- Ability to read P&IDs and follow SOPs
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
Additional Experience May Include
- Experience in copper SX/EW operations
- Familiarity with ISR mining environments
- Technical or process-related certifications
