Job Summary
MP Materials is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily plant operations and ensure safe, efficient, and high-performance mineral processing activities.

This role provides frontline leadership across field and control room operations, driving production, safety, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in mineral processing and chemical production
• Ensure execution of production plans safely and efficiently
• Monitor production data and troubleshoot operational issues in real time
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with procedures
• Train and develop team members in technical and operational skills
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate operational updates
• Oversee both field operations and control room activities
• Maintain high standards of accountability, performance, and teamwork

Qualifications
– 3+ years of experience in mining, chemical, or heavy industrial operations
– Strong understanding of processing systems and plant operations

Additional Experience May Include

• Experience with SCADA, PLC, and process control systems
• Knowledge of mineral processing equipment (kilns, pumps, thickeners, reactors, etc.)
• Experience reading PFDs and P&IDs
• Experience in hydrometallurgy or chemical processing environments
