Job Summary
Intrepid Potash is seeking a Senior Director, Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness to lead strategic HR initiatives, organizational development, and leadership effectiveness across a multi-site operation.
This role partners closely with executive leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, driving performance, culture, and scalable HR systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, translating business priorities into workforce strategies and execution plans
- Lead organizational design, culture initiatives, and change management efforts across teams and locations
- Oversee talent management processes including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development
- Provide leadership across HR functions including HR business partners, employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance
- Develop and evolve the HR Business Partner model to align with operational and financial goals
- Coach senior leaders and managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness and consistency
- Use workforce data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
- Improve HR systems, processes, and scalability across the organization
- Support cross-functional initiatives including M&A, integration, and organizational transformation
- Maintain strong engagement with operational teams through site visits and collaboration
Qualifications
– 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles
– 10+ years leading HR business partners
– Strong experience in multi-site, operational environments
Additional Experience May Include
- Experience in private equity-backed or asset-intensive industries
- Exposure to M&A, integration, and organizational restructuring
- Strong business acumen with ability to align HR with financial outcomes
- Proven ability to design scalable HR systems and frameworks
