Job Summary
Komatsu is seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic to support maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of mechanical components and equipment used in mining operations.

This role focuses on troubleshooting, precision repair work, and supporting equipment reliability in a workshop or field environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing mechanical repairs with accuracy and quality
• Support assessment of equipment repair needs and processes
• Troubleshoot and maintain assigned tooling and equipment
• Assist with component rebuilds, including gearboxes
• Inspect, clean, and evaluate parts for reuse or replacement
• Use precision measuring instruments for diagnostics and repair
• Work collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications

– 2–5 years of related mechanical experience
– Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and charts
– Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, bore gauges, etc.)

Additional Experience May Include

• Associate’s degree or Millwright degree
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
• Basic welding and torch experience
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
