Job Summary
Komatsu is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate modern cloud platforms across Azure environments.

This role focuses on cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and secure, scalable deployments supporting microservices and cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy Azure cloud solutions (AKS, App Services, ACA, Front Door, API Management, Key Vault)
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep integrated with GitHub Actions
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (blue-green, canary deployments)
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Implement zero-trust security and secure networking configurations
  • Monitor systems using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Dynatrace
  • Optimize cloud performance and cost efficiency
  • Support DevOps transformation and CI/CD modernization initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable cloud-native architectures

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering

Additional Experience May Include

  • Experience with Azure PaaS services (App Services, AKS, ACA)
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Storage
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security tools (Wiz, CodeQL)
  • Experience with observability tools (Azure Monitor, Dynatrace)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
