Job Summary
U.S. Silica is seeking an EHS Coordinator to lead the implementation, administration, and enforcement of plant-wide environmental, health, and safety programs.

This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage plant-wide EHS programs
  • Lead and support employee safety training initiatives
  • Monitor plant activities to ensure safety compliance and awareness
  • Maintain accurate records of training and compliance documentation
  • Prepare and submit MSHA and state regulatory reports
  • Ensure contractor compliance with company standards
  • Conduct industrial hygiene sampling and inspections
  • Lead EHS committee activities
  • Investigate incidents and document findings in systems
  • Collaborate with plant personnel and leadership
  • Support emergency response readiness
  • Travel as required

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree
– Strong organizational and project management skills
– Excellent communication and reporting abilities
– Ability to work across all organizational levels
– Problem-solving and analytical thinking
– Knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance standards
– Familiarity with MSHA standards and inspections

Additional Experience May Include

  • Experience in EHS roles within industrial or mining environments
  • MSHA experience
  • Knowledge of permits, regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Operations or plant experience
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
