Job Summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Operator to support plant operations at its Cortez site. This role focuses on operating and monitoring processing circuits, handling reagents, and maintaining stable plant performance to meet production targets.

You will work within the process operations team to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation of plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor process circuits including leach, carbon, and elution systems
  • Handle chemicals and reagents safely and in accordance with procedures
  • Monitor slurry, water flows, and plant performance
  • Make adjustments to maintain optimal processing conditions
  • Inspect equipment and identify potential issues or hazards
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of process or plant experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn and develop on the job

  • Strong safety and attendance record required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (day and night)
